Amazing then, that the early church met in homes. Probably without so much hoopla and stimulation.

Incredible then, that the Underground church in China is experiencing more revival than America. Perhaps when the church shifts into ‘relevance’ and lots of worldly ‘show’ (in order to reach out, of course), they end up gathering to themselves Worldly followers. Followers who aren’t inclined to lay it all on the altar, because, after all, very little was expected or required of them to follow. WHEN do they get to hear the gospel? WHEN do they get to grow and mature beyond “Jesus loves me just as I am.” ?

Jesus is more than a Get Out Of Hell Free Card – when the church spends so much effort trying to look like the world, and Christians live just like the Pagan, what is the point???
